About the Community Interest Company
Fullabrook CIC was set up to administer a Community Fund established by Devon Wind Power Ltd, who own Fullabrook Wind Farm. The CIC operates totally independently of Devon Wind Power and its parent company, ESB Wind Development UK Ltd.
The Fund started with £1 million when the wind farm began generating electricity in 2011, and a further annual payment of £100,000 is due from Devon Wind Power each year that the wind farm generates power
Fullabrook CIC is managed by a team of Directors, all of whom are local people from a variety of backgrounds, elected at an annual public meeting.
LAURENCE YOUNG, Chairman, lives near Shirwell.
Laurence grew up in Croyde before leaving for University and staying on to work in the South East. He then decided to move back with his own young family and would like to give something back to the Community. Laurence is a self-employed events manager and manages some local wedding venues

The financial support provided to Marwood in 2014/15 was key to enabling a new Community Hall, to be built, which would be shared with the local school. Fullabrook were very pragmatic, clear and timely in all their communications and the actual grant application and payment side was super-efficient.
