Our Team

Directors:

Fullabrook CIC is managed by a team of Directors, all of whom are local people from a variety of backgrounds, elected at an annual meeting. All Director roles at Fullabrook CIC are entirely voluntary.

LAURENCE YOUNG - Chairman

Laurence lives near Shirwell. Laurence grew up in Croyde before leaving for University and staying on to work in the South East. He then decided to move back with his own young family and would like to give something back to the community. Laurence is a self-employed events manager and manages some local wedding venues. Laurence is also a school governor and Chair of Chivenor Scout Group.

RICHARD TARR - Treasurer

Richard lives in East Down. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, and runs a small general accountancy practice. He has also served as a Parish Councillor for East Down since 2007.

SUSI BATSTONE - Vice Chair

Susi lives in West Down with her husband and has three grown children. Susi is a trained farm secretary and administrator with many years experience in running an organic farm and dairy business, as well as having worked in the Civil Service and local government. Susi is an active supporter of alternative energy projects.

YVONNE LIDDON - Director

Yvonne is a nurse assessor, who has lived in Marwood for over 20 years, serving during that time in the local church, as a governor of Marwood School and various other local groups. Yvonne is mother to two grown boys, which makes her acutely aware of the shortage of facilities for young people in the area, and the lack of freedom they have through limited transport options.

JOHN STAINER - Director

John is a local boy, now retired and lives in Ilfracombe. He has been involved in numerous clubs and committees in the area for over 60 years, and has been a member of Ilfracombe Rotary Club for 30 plus years, specialising in community and vocational committees. John also serves as Trustee for West Down Community Field, and West Down Parish Hall.

LORNA JONES  Administrator

Lorna is the fund administrator and first point of contact for Fullabrook CIC. Lorna has many years experience supporting the voluntary sector as a freelance fundraiser, and a grant assessor.

JAMES LETHABY - Director

James has lived in Devon all his life and is married with 3 daughters. James lives in the Blakewell Valley, between Barnstaple and Muddiford and is a Director in a property management and development company.

ROSS MOON - Director

Ross was born in Braunton, schooled in Taunton and then moved to London and abroad working in shipping and commodities. Returning to Braunton some 20 years ago, Ross chairs both the Vivian Moon Foundation and the Vivian Moon Braunton Community Trust Fund that his father founded in 1996, he is also an honorary member of the Rotary Club of Braunton and a director of the Vivian Moon Community Centre.

TOM DONOVAN - Director

Tom is native to North Devon, and lives in Ilfracombe with his wife and two children. A local businessman, Tom is also involved with various voluntary and community groups in the area. Tom joined Fullabrook CIC as a Director so that he could be involved in supporting the local community.
